LANIUS uses vegetable-tanned leather from Germany and Italy. By avoiding chemical treatments and finishing of the hides, both people and nature are protected. Colour variations and irregularities are an unmistakable natural characteristic of vegetable-tanned leather and give each item a vibrant uniqueness.

The entire family still works together in the Italian family business where LANIUS leather goods are produced.  The owner Corrado was the first to introducedLANIUS to  vegetable-tanned leather at the beginning of their collaboration. Since 2015, he has been producing vegetable-tanned leather belts and accessories for them.
