Poul Gernes, a Danish artist, was known for his vibrant use of color, geometric patterns and commitment to public art. Rejecting traditional canvases, Gernes created accessible, participatory works like his iconic happy dots, aiming to engage the public in art–making. A critic of capitalism, he believed in collective creativity, famously saying, “I cannot alone—want to join in?”

Preferrably hand wash to preserve the glass bead and water resistant coatings. Machine wash at 30°C in a washing bag, to prevent fibres entering the wastewater.
