It’s the only part of the world where it grows, and so it comes as no surprise to learn that it is the national drink of South Africa.Unlike black or green tea, rooibos tea contains no caffeine and few tannins, so there is no bitterness in the flavor and no need to worry about sleepless nights.Warming spices such as honeybush, cinnamon, lemon myrtle, licorice root and cloves turn cold days into very special winter moments.
Good to know...
A rooibos should be brewed with water at a temperature of 95–98°C (leave the water in the kettle for a short time until it has stopped boiling). For the perfect cup, let steep for 6 – 8 min.
